Daghlian Pediatric Dentistry & Sokolowski Orthodontics provides emergency dental care to get your child’s oral health and smile back on track. We understand that accidents and injuries can occur at any time, and offer flexible office hours to accommodate your child’s needs. If your child has a dental emergency, call our office as soon as possible. Our team will make arrangements for you to bring your child in so they can receive treatment, and will provide you with any instructions needed to care for your child’s teeth and mouth until you arrive at our office to meet with Dr. Rita Daghlian.
Common Dental Emergencies
A dental emergency is any situation that requires prompt attention from our pediatric dentist to resolve. Common dental emergencies include:
- Toothaches or other tooth pain, especially when it is severe or lasting
- Damage to your child’s mouth, such as their tongue, cheeks, lips and gums
- Cracked, fractured, chipped or otherwise broken teeth
- Partially or fully knocked-out teeth
While most children don’t need to receive fillings or other restorations, if your child has received this type of treatment in the past and their restoration is damaged or lost, please contact our office so that our pediatric dentist can evaluate their restoration and determine if it should be repaired or replaced.
Our Fully Certified Team
Our assistants are PAL (pediatric advanced life support) certified, and our office is CPR certified. We also take a functional, whole-body approach to your child’s care and will go the extra mile to ensure their safety and continued wellbeing, especially if they have experienced a dental emergency.
Other Emergencies
If your child has experienced trauma to their head or neck, or if you believe their injury could be severe or life-threatening, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room, even if their teeth and smile are also damaged.
